Get to Know Us
We are a tight-knit, international group of high school writers who love literature and value empathy. We aim to build a diverse community of like-minded students across continents, make writing more accessible to high schoolers around the world, and cultivate opportunities to augment leadership as we share our writing with others. We channel our creativity and passion into authentic narratives, forging friendships that last a lifetime.
I love connecting with creative writers, and I love how GLS especially gives you the opportunity to connect with writers across the world. I love writing and GLS is such a supportive, fun space to be in.

I’ve only been part of GLS for a few months now, but I can already feel the sense of community and connection that is blossoming between everyone. I’m so grateful to everyone who has taken part in creating this wonderful group and have enjoyed every second of it. But more than that, I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

GLS has been a great way for me to share my writing on a larger scale and to be read and reviewed by my own peers! The community is super welcoming and I feel super lucky to be a part of the first issue. I love to write, but I often don’t because I don’t have outlets to share it casually, and GLS fulfills that desire.
